On a July afternoon in 1981, three wives of Graceful Living (a small town housing community) make their way to a 5pm ladies’ hour.... Mrs. Noll and Mrs. Messmer haven’t spoken in a year and Mrs. Pliner is Hungarian and has trouble fitting in.
Can they come together on a day that has each one falling apart?
About loss and its loneliness and about being a good neighbor, a friend.
A one-act version was part of the NYC Fringe, the Whole Story premiered in a workshop production at Ensemble Studio Theatre.
Ghosts of the Venice (full-length) 3W 2M
Doris is the superintendent of an apartment building called “The Venice.” Across the yard resides Roman, superintendent of “The Paris.” Paris is getting renovated. Venice is getting neglected. Doris navigates the challenges of her own life, The Venice’s violent past, Roman’s requests, tenant Margie’s anxieties, has to oversee an eviction, and encounter an old acquaintance… It’s all a little much.

In the Dolomites (Full-Length) 3W 1M
Before the start of the second World War, two sisters run a farm in the Dolomite Mountains together. Matilda has a 10 year old daughter out of wedlock and a melancholic nature and Lina is all about efficiency. They have very little money and even less help. The only man, a hired field hand, is about to move on and no-one, except the local knife-grinder Rosetta, will associate with them. When Matilda starts behaving strangely on summer solstice day, things breaks apart.
Can one sister live without the other?

“Those Left Behind,” a club for those older and unfairly treated. Together with her friend Hemma, the Club’s Secretary, she lands at a nameless bar, which has no tables, chairs, or attentive service. Instead there is questionable artwork, supplied by questionable artists, a permanent and odd regular, and plenty of Gin.
A play about how to go on, when our comforts dissolve.
